George, I can't deny

Well, in the holiday time I can't think of a holiday killer more evil then George Mitchell. On Thursday of this week he unleashed a report so surprising he will be known as a baseball uncovered of drugs than as a former Senate member. The 404 page report is imposing as the baseball world found out that Roger Clemens and Andy Pettite were abusive about using steroids and so did Jose Canseco a few years back in his now-famous book. So the jury is out on many stars like Canseco, Paul Byrd, and Rick Ankiel.

The MLB has to respond to stuff like the underground networks led by former Mets clubhouse attendant Kirk Radomski and Yankees strength coach Brain McNamee who said he saw Clemens and Pettite both use steroids in the clubhouse around the turn of the century. Well, there is a way to stop this madness. George Mitchell should join forces with World Anti-Doping Association chief Dick Pound to come up with a drug test that all players have to do every single year that can detect HGH, which is the drug of choice for players because it doesn't show on current tests. The first offense is a 10 game suspension, the second step is a 5 year ban, the third and worst one is a lifetime ban. That is your way to close the door on this dark year. That is your plan, George. Use it for good.
